STEM Room
Our STEM Room is a purpose-built learning space where students explore, create, design and problem-solve using the latest digital technologies and hands-on learning experiences. Equipped with laptops and iPads, the room provides students with regular opportunities to develop essential future-focused skills in an engaging and supportive environment.
Students frequently use a wide range of digital tools and programs including coding platforms, Canva, and the full Microsoft Suite to create presentations, design projects, collaborate with others and communicate their learning in creative ways.
Learning in the STEM Room encourages critical thinking, teamwork, creativity and resilience through exciting challenges and inquiry-based activities. Students engage with robotics and engineering resources such as LEGO, Bee-Bots and Spheros, allowing them to develop coding, sequencing and problem-solving skills through hands-on exploration.
To further enrich learning opportunities, we also borrow specialised STEM kits through the NSW STEMT4L program. These experiences expose students to emerging technologies including 3D printing, Micro:bits, podcasting equipment and other innovative digital tools that inspire curiosity and creativity.
Our STEM program empowers students to become confident, capable and responsible users of technology while building the skills needed for the future.
